Happy Families at Grand Hotel
Courmayeur, Italy Map
The Grand Hotel Courmayeur is a delight. The hotel is brand new and is contemporary in it’s design and outlook. This delightful Alpine hotel is a five star luxury hotel of large proportions without overlooking one element.
The hotel is made of a number of small buildings joined together at corners, creating an illusion of a small hotel – it’s incredibly clever (but you may get lost on your first evening!) The bedrooms are large, spacious and modern. Where extra beds are incorporated, space is not compromised.
The spa is on the ground floor of the hotel and offers their guests complete relaxation and a haven away from it all in the hotel; the gym is extensive and the pool, on sunny days opens up to reveal a gorgeous sun terrace to sunbathe beside.
For those who are taking their first steps on ski’s – the gentle hill that the hotel sits on is the perfect location – twinned with the hotel’s private ski lift – it couldn’t be better. We can arrange for ski instructors to come here for the first private lesson to explain the basics and start making the turns. Learning to ski doesn’t get better.
When people are ready the hotel’s shuttle bus will whisk you to the Dolonne gondola, getting you quickly up to the piste where you can put your ski’s and boots on.
Rooms here come in many configurations to suit most families, please get in touch to see what would suit your family best.
The hotel is located a five minute walk downhill to the church square so when popping to the shops one must consider there’s a small climb up hill – this is honestly the only downside to this hotel and not really a downside when you consider you will be eating incredibly well during your stay and every step allows you one more mouthful!
